2023 Ford F-150 Lightning prices increase up to US$8500 as CEO quips 'Take that, Elon Musk' on Cybertruck availability

Ford's CEO really can not help but brag about introducing the F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck months before Tesla's Cybertruck,

which was announced years ago but won't be available until mid-2023. Last month, Ford sold 4,500 of these vehicles.

We are "the market leader among all electric pickup trucks in the US. Eliminate Elon Musk,

"During a press conference to announce its 650 megawatts renewable energy agreement with DTE, a record purchase from a US utility,

Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford, cracked a joke.
