Chevrolet Avalanche (2013) (4.8 Reliability Score)
The Chevy Avalanche's bad reputation is regrettable. The pickup truck showed glimpses of what the Avalanche
may have been at its peak in its last model year (2013): a dependable option in the pickup truck market in
terms of luxury and performance. It had previously had poor crash test results and significant engine issues.
The 5.3-liter V8 engine and 8,100-pound maximum towing capacity of the 2013 Chevy
Avalanche may not appear particularly spectacular for a pickup truck. Yet it has a lot of benefits, such
great highway fuel economy (21 mpg), which is made possible by an active fuel management system.
Notwithstanding these issues, earlier Avalanches covered more than 300,000 miles; consequently,
of traffic: one coming from the left and one coming from the right. Teslas have become adept at doing this manoeuvre after first finding it difficult.
