Does a V8 sports car exist in Nissan’s current lineup?
Nissan does not currently produce a V8 sports vehicle, which is the simple answer. The GT-R, which is powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine with
a maximum output of 600 horsepower for the Nismo trim level, is the closest car in Nissan's current portfolio.
A six-speed dual-clutch gearbox distributes the power to all four wheels.
The GT-R has undoubtedly always been a marvel in the automobile industry. With its physics-defying adaptive suspension,
it handles turns with ease and is comfortable to drive around town. Unfortunately,
a V8 engine was never offered with the Nissan GT-R, and in all honesty, one was never really necessary.
Nissan, after all, has always been adept at getting the most power out of their V6 engines.
