Does the CX-5 or CR-V drive better?

The EPA estimates that the 2022 Mazda CX-5 achieves 24 mpg in the city and up to 30 mpg on the interstate.

The EPA estimates that the 2023 Honda CR-V achieves 28 mpg in the city and up to 34 mpg on the interstate.

The CR-V accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around 8.0 seconds, compared to the CX-5's 6.6 seconds.

While the CR-V strains a little on inclines, the CX-5 handles more securely and with a solid grip.

In contrast to the CR-V, the CX-5 boasts a firm suspension for sporty handling.

Although the inside of both SUVs is quiet,

the CR-engine V's can be heard.
