Ford Claims EV Production Requires 40 Percent Less Labor

The fact that maintenance expenses for electric vehicles are frequently far lower than for gas-powered automobiles is one unappreciated advantage.

Tires are still required, however regenerative braking reduces the requirement for brake pad replacement. Additionally,

you won't need to bother about repairing a faulty starter, replenishing engine oil or coolant, or changing the spark plugs.

But even while this is good for customers, it's also good for automakers. According to Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford,

the labour cost to produce an electric vehicle is around 40% less than that of an ICE vehicle,

according to CleanTechnica. That makes logical on the one hand. They don't have to hire

a professional to install the pieces they don't have to bother about replacing.
