Ford Doesn't Plan to Make an EV F-150 Raptor

Thanks to its supercharged V8 engine, the 2023 Ford F-150 Raptor R is an off-road beast that scoffs at most obstacles and trail conditions.

Many are speculating whether Ford would short- to medium-term replace the internal combustion engines (ICEs) in

the Raptor series with electric motors due to the same powerplant. But the short answer is no, according to Ford,

which Motor Authority reported.Carl Widmann, the head of Ford Performance, claims that neither hybrid nor

all-electric drivetrains will be available for any Raptor models.

For the time being, the F-150 Lightning will be

the most popular EV truck from the blue oval.
