Honda's CR-V Hybrid reportedly has 600 more horsepower.

Honda Performance Development (HPD), a specialised division inside the firm, creates Honda's off-road vehicles and racing automobiles.

The Honda Ridgeline Sport pickup truck, the Acura TLX luxury sedan, and the Honda Civic Si and Type R racing cars are all creations

of Honda Performance Development. But, HPD is now beginning to pay attention to the

Honda CR-V, a little SUV that has often been overlooked in favour of bigger cars.

We have only seen a few sample pictures so far, but they have really whetted our appetite! Honda said today that the Auto Development Center

(ADC) and North America Auto Design Division are working with HPD to develop a hybrid version of the CR-V that can generate up

to 800 horsepower. We don't know precisely how the CR-V Hybrid achieves its impressive 204 horsepower in its base

at the 39-second mark. I have no idea whether this is the car's roof. Later, as the car proceeds down the assembly line, more robot arms can be seen working on it.
