How many Tesla vehicles could have this window problem?
According to the NHTSA, 1,096,762 — or over 1.1 million — units might be impacted. Models S and X from 2021 to 2022,
Model 3 from 2017 to 2022, and Model Y from 2020 to 2021 are all included in this Tesla recall.
According to GoodCarBadCar, the EV manufacturer has delivered 1,433,678 units since 2017.
In other words, this recall affects 76% of all Tesla EVs sold since 2017. According to statistics from the U.S.
Department of Transportation, that recall ranks third in terms of size among all of the company's previous recalls.
The only recalls that impacted more vehicles, 2,925,968 and 1,234,657,
respectively, were for Ford shift cables and Chrysler tailgates.
