Lamborghini and Bugatti may be eliminated as part of Volkswagen's transition to electric vehicles.
Reuters reported that VW is evaluating the future of its high-performance brands
Lamborghini and Bugatti, citing anonymous people within the company. In light of the
company's goal to electrify its fleet of vehicles, the story claims that Volkswagen's
management is debating whether it would be beneficial to develop an electric platform for these low volume cars.
Another company whose name may soon be forgotten is Ducati. The brand of high-performance motorcycles is renowned for its
capacity to humiliate hypercars that start at several million dollars. Ducati sold 53,000 superbikes during the course of the previous year,
but this number was insufficient to keep the business out of reorganisation discussions. While the executives with whom Reuters spoke said a number
of traffic: one coming from the left and one coming from the right. Teslas have become adept at doing this manoeuvre after first finding it difficult.
