Maserati Has Ambitious Plans For The Future
You'll note that whenever we discuss a new Maserati, the word "Folgore" is always added to the end of the description.
The word's Italian translation is "lightning." And it appears like Maserati is using that designation for the most,
if not all, of its forthcoming lineup. The name of the Quattroporte will undoubtedly use the same phrase.
Maserati envisions a world in which solely electric vehicles will be available.
But there is more to the Folgore lineup than that. As part of their 2030 strategy, Stellantis,
the parent company of Maserati, has committed over 700 million
euros (743 million USD) to the advancement of electric vehicles.
