Recall Issued as Your Jeep Wrangler 4xe Might Shut Off Without Warning
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), which means it should be able to turn off its engine when not in use
While it occasionally turns off without warning, it really shouldn't do so at random.
Jeep has had to issue a recall owing to the engine shutting down when it's not allowed to because of a problem that's occuring in the powertrain
and transmission control systems, but that recall doesn't include a definitive repair yet.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a fantastic plug-in hybrid off-road vehicle since it performs all the same functions
as a conventional Wrangler while also offering a 2.0 litre turbocharged I-4
an electric-only range, and fuel savings that are unattainable from an ICE-only Jeep. For new owners, it might be a little startling.
