Subaru Announces New Forester XT - The Turbo Model You Want But Can’t Have

Japanese Subaru customers receive an early Christmas gift, compared to those in North America. Subaru Corporation declared that

a new XT Edition with a turbocharged engine will be available for the 2023 Forester in Japan. A 1.8-liter Boxer turbocharged engine

powers the 2017 Forester XT, but now it won't be sold in North America. Another model built to Japan standards that won't be accessible

to clients in the United States. To mark the 50th anniversary of the invention of Subaru's all-wheel-drive

cars, the 2023 Forester XT-Edition is made available for purchase in Japan. A 1.8-liter,

four-cylinder, low combustion Boxer turbocharged direct injection (DIT)

engine powers the Forester XT. It has 221 lb-ft of torque and 175 horsepower.
