Tested: 2023 Toyota Prius Drives Even Better Than It Now Looks

Driving a Toyota Prius has become an open admission that you would be prepared to give up everything for the sake of optimum fuel efficiency.

It makes natural that performance and power were eliminated. However, no prior Prius could surpass

the meagre 10-second threshold to 60 mph. Along with appealing aesthetics, comfortable driver ergonomics, and the bare minimum of driving skill,

these qualities were also on the list of discarded qualities. The Prius was never more than a one-trick pony devoid of any real horses.

Except for the bit when the 2023 Toyota Prius achieves exceptional fuel efficiency, that is over now.

Toyota claims that this basic objective is where it excels. How do you feel about 57 combined mpg (57 city/56 highway)?

That pertains to the LE model, which has front-wheel drive and 17-inch wheels.
