The Escalade-V Is Purely American

Just for the engine, the high asking price of $151,490 is a premium. The inside is identical to that of any other Escalade

which we thought was a horrible value given the price. With six figures above $150,000, there is fierce competition.

Mercedes-AMG GLS63, Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, now-retired Dodge Durango SRT, and BMW Alpina XB7

are some of the rivals. It's important to note that both the Jeep and Dodge are significantly less

expensive than the Cadillac because they both belong to the same distinctive class as the

Escalade-V. Even if the majority of people won't be driving Escalades around the

Nurburgring, it's a clear display of strength from an arm that has produced some hits over the years.
