Why do rivals outrank the 2023 RAV4 Hybrid?

In its segment, the 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid boasts the second-best fuel efficiency.

It achieves up to 38 mpg on the freeway and an EPA-estimated 41 mpg in the city. 

The EPA estimates that the 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid will get 43 mpg in the city and up to 43 mpg in the city.

The top-ranking 2023 Hyundai Tucson, however, only manages an EPA-estimated 38 mpg in the city and up to 38 mpg on

the interstate.However, it stands out for possessing exceptional passenger and cargo room, quick acceleration, careful handling, 

a comfortable ride, and a high-end interior. 

However, the drawbacks include its poor fuel efficiency in comparison to competitors and lack of a volume knob.
