Why is the Dodge SRT4 a future classic?

Dodge has added a Mitsubishi turbocharger to the Neon's base 2.4-liter engine, increasing output to 215 horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque.

The only transmission featuring a high-performance Sachs clutch is the five-speed manual.

Dodge mounts 110-inch front disc brakes and 106-inch rear disc brakes on the Neon SRT4's 17-inch wheels along with bigger front and rear sway bars and firmer Tokyo shock springs.

In independent testing, standard-series 205/50 Michelin summer tyres let this behemoth get off the ground with

a 0-to-60 mph time of around 55 seconds. The SRT4 has an aggressive appearance thanks to a wide rear spoiler,

an extra snout, and distinctive front skirts, and inside the Neon, there are customised seats that

are based on those used in the Viper by Dodge. We can't assist,
